45 New Year’s Eve fireworks in the UAE – here’s how you can watch all the festivities in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah

In Abu Dhabi, there are seven main New Year’s Eve fireworks viewing spots. According to Abu Dhabi’s official tourism website visitabudhabi. ae. Most of these locations are free and open to families and children.

Watching the Abu Dhabi Corniche fireworks display is free. The 8km stretch includes a children’s play area, cycle and walking paths, cafes and restaurants, and an Esplanade beach.

Fireworks will start at midnight.

Ring in the New Year with two fireworks displays at 9pm and midnight on the Yas Bay waterfront. If you want a front row seat to the fireworks, you can book a table in advance at one of the many fine dining restaurants on the promenade.

The first firework display will be at 9pm and the second at 12am.

Another free firework at Al Maryah Island. A fireworks display will entertain visitors for 10 minutes starting at midnight.

Al Wathba’s Sheikh Zayed Festival program heads into the New Year with a world record for the longest 40-minute fireworks display, which will break three Guinness World Records.

In addition to the record-breaking fireworks, there will be a drone show, parade, dancing fountains and live music.

The Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain will also host the NYE Fireworks at midnight, and it’s free.

Madinat Zayed in the Al Dhafrah area, known for its spectacular desert vistas, is also planning to host a fireworks display. The New Year’s Eve celebration will start at midnight and it’s free.

In addition to Madinat Zayed, the Al Dhafrah region’s New Year’s Eve fireworks will also be held at Tal Mor’eb on Liwa, Ghayathi and Al Mirfa beaches.

If you’re looking for something a little more upscale, Saadiyat Beach Club is counting down to the new year with their own special firework display. However, you have to book a table in advance to get a spot.

The Beach Club will open for festivities at 7.30pm, with a dinner package priced at AED 699 per adult.

More than 30 locations in Dubai will host the fireworks display, including iconic locations such as Burj Khalifa and Dubai Frame, as well as other locations such as golf clubs, beach strips and family-friendly destinations.

The family-friendly destination of the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), in partnership with the Sharjah Business and Tourism Development Authority, announced that the fireworks will take place at the following locations:

Al Majaz Waterfront will light up the Khalid Lagoon with an 8-minute long fireworks display. The destination will also organize other shows from 7.45pm on December 31, 2022.

You can also enjoy these fireworks at Al Noor Island, which will be specially arranged for New Year’s Eve.

Khorfakkan Beach will celebrate New Year’s Eve with a countdown, featuring LED, fire and bubble shows for families and children from 7.45pm.

In an Instagram post, the Ajman Tourism Development Department also highlighted the planned fireworks display along the Ajman Corniche.

The show is expected to be five minutes long and will be free to all visitors.

Ras Al Khaimah will strive to break the world record for “the longest multi-rotor/drone simultaneous launch of fireworks” and create a new world record for “the largest aerial sentence formed by a multi-rotor/drone”. The exhibition will cover 4.7 kilometers of seashore between Al Marjan Island and the village of Al Hamra.

However, you’ll need to buy tickets for Dh10 for all adults, while children under 12 get in for free.

You can watch the fireworks at Umbrella Beach, a newly developed family-friendly destination in Fujairah, starting at midnight.
