Bouguessa is a ready-to-wear womenswear label inspired by architecture, art and global culture, founded five years ago by Faiza Bouguessa, a French-born designer of Algerian parents who lives in the UAE. Bouguessa’s grandmother was a seamstress who taught her how to knit and sew. She did a series of internships at tailors during college, which explains the impeccable tailoring in the collection.
