A dresser is more than just a mirror and your makeup bag, or at least that’s what professional makeup artists in Dubai say. The key to powdering your face in record time is having a dedicated nook with all your tools and accessories.
If you have portable LED light fixtures, a well-equipped vanity can help get the best lighting after the sun goes down. Another touted must-have is the acrylic organizer, which holds palettes, brushes, and lipsticks, from where they can be quickly pulled out and put back in.
Some accessories, such as extra mirrors, may depend on where your vanity is located. However, keep in mind that there are no hard and fast rules to finding the best location, as long as it receives plenty of natural light. Dubai-based professional makeup artist Vlada Elchava, who has a wide clientele from celebrities to brides, says she and her vanity essentials can be kept where the home has the “best lighting”, which is her dining table.
With different beauty corners in mind, we’ve come up with a list of essential tools and featured tips on how professionals can use them. Now’s the perfect time to organize and store your dresser, and Amazon’s beauty week Sales are still in progress.Decorate your corner as soon as possible by ordering tomorrow main member.
1. Makeup mirror with LED light
The best part about portable vanity mirrors is that they can be paired with any tabletop—whether it’s your desk or bathroom counter. Those with lights help mimic natural sunlight in dim areas. For Dubai-based Lebanese makeup artist Gaelle Hanna, light can make or break your look.
“Lighting is the most important aspect because if you can’t see clearly then you end up with a mismatched base. Most people like warm LED lights, but they’re neither warm nor cool. Stick to something in between temperature for the best color,” says Hannah.
We chose the Luxfurni vanity mirror, which is easily powered via a USB cable and has rave reviews. Its perimeter has 12 LED bulbs that alternate between cool, neutral and warm temperatures with stylish touch controls. The mirror’s frameless minimalist design fits every tabletop.
Hannah adds that for those who are ready in the bathroom, a magnifying glass on the side can help with tweezers and eye makeup. Kedsum mirrors attach to any clean surface using suction cups with flexible goosenecks. It has 7x magnification and is equipped with 14 daylight color LEDs.
But if you’re already using your favorite mirror, opt for separate lighting. Elchava prefers to wear makeup while the light is away: “For me, the LED light mirror changes the color of the face, so it can be misleading. Instead, I use a remote-controlled ring light because I can move it at any time”.

2. Dresser furniture with drawers
Before we get into acrylic organizers, you might want to consider a dedicated vanity. Not only do they carve out a zen area for you to get ready for your day, but they also feature drawers for extra space.
This advice comes from Aidai Ismailova, a makeup trainer at Dubai’s Al Ruba Beauty Academy and a professional artist for 10 years. Imagine the perfect vanity for products you don’t always want to display, such as wipes, cotton swabs, applicators, and more.
Vasagle has a rustic brown and black unit with three drawers, a tri-fold mirror and an upholstered stool. Its best additions are the hairdryer holder and brush container that hangs on either edge.
A more affordable option is the compact dresser from TecnoMobili. For its price, you get a unified drawer but with a stool with storage capacity. The entire unit is collapsible so it looks like a hidden form of bedside drawer.

3. Beauty Organizer
Hanna recommends avoiding the all-in-one container, which packs all your different makeup tools into one organizer. Dedicated storage for brushes, beauty blenders, palettes and foundation makes application less cluttered.
“I have a lot of separate tool racks; for example, I know my eye brush is on one side and my foundation brush is on the other. If they’re all in the same place, it can be time-consuming to figure out where things are,” Hannah explained, adding that her foundation bottles and palettes are also in different organizers.
Also, since these containers sit in the open air, they should also blend in with the rest of your decor. An easy fix is a clear acrylic container. Our pick is a customizable palette rack with eight compartments, seven of which are removable. Each tray will fit at least ten palettes.
Another popular way to organize is to “store” your makeup. Every eyeshadow palette is sure to have favorites and less common shades. Removing color from different brands of pans and putting them in an easy-to-use tray can help you save space and make traveling easier. We chose the Adept Cosmetics Magnetic Palette, a double-sided blank canvas that holds over 100 eyeshadow jars.
For cylindrical products like lipstick, lip liner, mascara and concealer, a storage box with multiple drawers can help. The Sorbus container has three large drawers and four mini drawers in a variety of translucent shades. Small drawers are always great for storing loose lip balm.

4. Brush and Beauty Blender Holder
Covered brush holders are all the rage, especially those with pearl or bead fillers to enhance the vanity aesthetic. We chose a TimCart acrylic product with a beige pearl base. You can stick 50 small brushes or 25 large brushes into three compartments, and the pearl keeps them upright for easy access.
Even our beauty blender needs a stand to dry and dry. Hannah says it’s essential to wash these sponges after each use, so a well-ventilated container is a must. Reviewers swear by LanMa’s three-piece rose gold clothes drying rack, adding that these drying racks are not prone to rusting. We’ve also added a capped option with a perforated base.

5. Cleaning tools
Spinning a used brush in a soapy solution usually doesn’t work unless you rinse and repeat it a few times. Save washing time with the power brush cleaner that scrubs for you on soft silicone ridges.
BeautyTok, also known as TikTok’s beauty community, has thoroughly tested the gadget. It comes with a small cleaning bowl that spins at different speeds at the touch of a button. Fill with water and your favorite cleaner, dip the brush head in and run the machine for 30 seconds to 1 minute. The USB cable can be carried anywhere, making it an ideal addition to a travel cosmetic bag.
A cleaning pad can also do the job, but it does require manual scrubbing. The Sigma Beauty pad comes in seven patterns for washing and rinsing brushes, and it sticks to the sink using six suction feet.
How about non-disposable makeup remover pads? Instead of restocking on cotton pads, go for a pack of small, washable microfiber towels. Make-up layers can be removed simply by wiping both sides of the cloth with warm water.
