New Delhi [India]July 11 (ANI): Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday discussed advancing cooperation between the two countries in the fields of combating terrorism, drug trafficking and security with US Ambassador Eric Garcetti.

The Shah and the US envoy held discussions during a meeting at the Northern District Office of the Interior Ministry.

During the meeting, the Shah reiterated his commitment to promote the positive outcomes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent visit to the US.

As a result, we are seeing billions of dollars of investment from India as well. No surprise there. Companies from the U.S. … they are taking advantage of the strategic location of a great workforce,” Garcetti said.

He also spoke about the potential of the United States to accelerate the construction of the infrastructure needed in Kolkata. The US envoy further stated that there are many investors and billions of dollars waiting to help invest in West Bengal. (Arnie)
