Two dead as plane crashes onto road in Malaysia

Tragedy struck in Malaysia’s Selangor state as a small aircraft crashed onto a road, claiming the lives of two individuals. The incident, which occurred on a Thursday afternoon, garnered widespread attention through a viral video shared on X (Twitter), depicting the aftermath of the crash.

According to accounts from eyewitnesses, the aircraft plummeted from the sky and erupted into a devastating explosion upon impact. Regrettably, the wreckage also struck a passing motorcycle, resulting in the fatality of its rider.

The video clip, which has amassed over 800,000 views on the platform, portrays a scorched section of the road enveloped in billowing smoke – a grim testament to the catastrophic event.

Eyewitness testimonies consistently recount the sudden descent and subsequent detonation of the airplane upon hitting the ground. Notably, fragments from the crash collided with the motorcycle, compounding the tragedy.

Providing official confirmation, Malaysia’s transport minister, Anthony Loke, revealed that the civil aviation authority had verified the occurrence of the small aircraft crash.

The plane had been carrying six passengers along with a crew of two, yet the condition of these individuals remains uncertain and unverified as of now. The incident has left a community in mourning and authorities grappling with unanswered questions.
