HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, launched MoFA’s 2023-2026 Strategy at a ceremony in Abu Dhabi. During the event, Sheikh Abdullah also recognized the recipients of the 4th MoFA Excellence Award.
The ceremony was attended by prominent officials, including Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State; Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State; Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, Minister of State; Khalid Abdullah Belhoul, Under-Secretary at MoFA, and various Ministry representatives.
Sheikh Abdullah commended the dedicated efforts of MoFA teams in shaping the ministry’s four-year strategy, emphasizing the importance of enhancing the UAE’s diplomatic work and global standing. He called for increased efforts to improve services, capitalize on opportunities, and address challenges in the upcoming years.
The new strategy aligns with the Principles of the 50 and contributes to the ‘We the UAE 2031’ vision. It emphasizes building the UAE’s reputation as a hub for peace and humanitarian work and establishing it as a global diplomatic role model.
MoFA’s 2023-2026 strategy is organized around five pillars, including enhancing the UAE’s reputation and soft power, strengthening its global role in development and related activities, enhancing economic impact and competitiveness, safeguarding Emirati community interests abroad, and supporting global efforts for regional peace, stability, strong strategic relations, and adherence to international law.
Sheikh Abdullah concluded the ceremony by honoring the winners of the Ministry’s 4th Excellence Award and congratulating them on their outstanding achievements.
