Kuwait questions unofficial Egypt lecture map

The Kuwaiti embassy brought up a concern with Cairo authorities regarding the display of an Arab world map that omitted Kuwait’s recognized international borders. This issue arose during a lecture attended by Kuwaiti officers, as stated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kuwait.

Subsequently, Egyptian authorities clarified that the map shown during the lecture was an unintentional mistake by the lecturer and should not be misconstrued. The organizers of the session also issued apologies to the attendees, emphasizing that there was no intention to disrespect Kuwait.

The statement further emphasized the importance of preserving their strong brotherly relations and ensuring that the incident does not affect their bond.
