Acting on a tip, officials intercepted the man at the green channel and recovered the gold after an investigation. Further inquiries are ongoing.
In a separate incident occurring between Wednesday and Thursday nights, police officers from the district chief’s squad interrogated a woman passenger arriving from a Gulf country after discovering four capsules of gold weighing around 1 kg in her possession.
Additionally, all four individuals who came to receive her were taken into custody by the police officers, according to sources.”
