Roommates, New York City found a way to commemorate their lives George Freud, Brenna Taylor and John Lewis-it was recently shown to everyone. A brand new art exhibition called “See In Justice” just debuted in New York, featuring huge statues of George Floyd, Brenna Taylor, and civil rights leader John Lewis.
Hosted by Confront Art, an organization that connects artists with art careers Social justice In order to create an artistic display, the “See In Justice” exhibition is currently on display at Union Square in New York City. The exhibition contains three sculptures created by artist Chris Carnabuci, named “FLOYD”, “BREONNA” and “JOHN LEWIS”.
Obviously inspired by police brutality, social injustice and protests in 2020, the “See In Justice” exhibition hopes to commemorate the lost lives by displaying three iconic figures representing the struggle.
Terrence Floyd, George Floyd’s brother, witnessed the unveiling and talked about how it paid tribute to his late brother. “We are inspired by the important work Confront Art has done to support the cause of’We are Freud’. We look forward to establishing a broad partnership with Confront Art to bring artistic and creative resources to communities across the country.”
“See In Justice” exhibition will be on display until October 30day In Union Square.
