My journey has been a testament to the power of determination and an entrepreneurial spirit. Despite dyslexia, I excelled in diverse industries, fueled by an innate drive for success. The pivotal moment was the launch of Kcal, redefining nutrition and wellness. We’ve since achieved milestones such as the successful introduction of innovative brands like Fuel Up, Spring and Moments, reshaping healthy eating in the UAE.

What inspired your decision to join this sector?

My commitment to personal well-being and a deep understanding of nutrition inspired the creation of Kcal. I saw an opportunity to simplify access to healthy, quality food, supporting health and fitness goals in the UAE.

Who has been your biggest influence or mentor in your career?

Kcal Group

While I’ve drawn inspiration from various sources, my biggest influence has undeniably been my family. Their unwavering support and encouragement have been the bedrock of my journey. From the earliest days of charting my entrepreneurial path to the launch of Kcal, their belief in my vision and resilience in overcoming challenges have been a constant source of motivation. The values instilled by my family, coupled with my relentless pursuit of success and passion for innovation, have truly guided me throughout this transformative entrepreneurial journey. Continuous learning is also a key in the process. Every day I listen to an enormous number of audiobooks, podcasts and other inspiring stories from different cultures that encourages me to keep innovating and adapting to new ways of thinking.

The sector has witnessed a transformative shift toward healthier living. Kcal has played a pivotal role by introducing innovative brands like Fuel Up, Spring and Moments, addressing diverse customer needs. The demand for convenient, nutritious dining experiences has grown, and our commitment to sustainability reflects the evolving preferences of consumers.

What qualities, in your opinion, make a successful leader in your industry?

A successful leader in the meal plan industry must combine innovation with a deep understanding of nutrition. Adaptability, vision, and a customer-centric approach are crucial. Leading by example, fostering a culture of creativity, and staying ahead of industry trends are qualities that define successful leadership in our dynamic landscape.

Kcal has embraced the digital revolution, with just 10% of operations offline. We’ve introduced biodegradable packaging, transformed into a tech-driven powerhouse, and leveraged AI for a personalized customer journey. This digital transformation ensures a seamless experience and contributes to our commitment to sustainability.

Embrace innovation, stay attuned to customer needs, and prioritize sustainability. Build a team that shares your passion, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and don’t shy away from challenging the status quo.
