Emirates Announces Repatriation Flights from Dubai to Manila in October – Dubai Blog

Emirates announced that it will operate special commercial flights in October to provide additional capacity from Dubai to Manila for Filipino citizens who meet the eligibility requirements. The airline will operate the “Bayanihan” flight on EK332 on October 2nd, 5th, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th.

In accordance with the regulations of the Philippine authorities, Emirates has resumed scheduled passenger services to Manila, Clark and Cebu, providing services to all eligible passengers but capacity restrictions apply until further notice. Special flights provide additional opportunities to secure reservations. Customers in the UAE can contact +9714 274 9199 to book tickets for special flights.

Only Filipino citizens currently in the UAE are eligible to reserve seats on special flights and need to meet the following requirements:

  • A 10-day facility-based quarantine with the arrival date as the first day will apply to all passengers, followed by a 4-day home quarantine.
  • Emirates will coordinate with the Overseas Workers’ Welfare Administration (OWWA) and/or the Department of Tourism (DOT) the allocation of designated hotel isolation facilities.

As the Philippine authorities lifted the ban on UAE travelers, the ban came into effect in September, and the airline has resumed daily flights to and from Manila. At the same time, there are five weekly flights to Clark and two weekly flights to Cebu. The flights can be booked by Filipinos and expats. From October 9th to 30th, Emirates will operate 8 round-trip flights to and from Manila every week, with an additional flight on Saturday, namely EK334 and EK335.

Passengers can book tickets in the following ways www.emirates.com/ph, The Emirates mobile app, through the Emirates sales office or preferred travel agency.
