Driving AI Transformation from Dubai: UAE Times Talks with Solvagence AI CEO Mohammad Anwer

In a rapidly evolving digital era, artificial intelligence has become more than just a technology trend — it’s now a core driver of enterprise transformation. At the forefront of this shift is Solvagence AI Consulting Limited, headquartered in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). With a focus on generative AI, automation, and digital engineering, the company is helping enterprises transition from fragmented, legacy systems to agile, future-ready operating models. UAE Times sat down with Mohammad Anwer, Founder and CEO of Solvagence, to discuss his journey, the growth of AI in the UAE, and how Solvagence is shaping the future of enterprise transformation.

What inspired you to establish Solvagence AI Consulting in the UAE, and why focus on AI-driven enterprise transformation?

I have always believed that the future of enterprises lies at the intersection of human potential and intelligent technology. The UAE, and the DIFC Innovation Hub – AI Campus in particular, provides a unique ecosystem where innovation is encouraged and bold ideas can scale globally. That inspired me to establish Solvagence here. Our focus on AI-driven transformation stems from a very practical observation: most organizations want to innovate, but they struggle with fragmented systems, outdated processes, and lack of skilled AI talent. Solvagence was born to bridge that gap, helping enterprises move from legacy to future-ready operating models.

What key challenges have you faced while building an AI consulting firm in DIFC, and what lessons shaped your leadership journey?

The challenges have been both exciting and humbling. Setting up in a region where AI adoption is still maturing means we must balance education with execution. Convincing stakeholders to move from pilots to enterprise-wide adoption was another challenge. The biggest lesson I’ve learned as a leader is that credibility comes not from telling clients what’s possible, but from showing them what’s achievable in their context. Listening deeply, co-creating with clients, and staying humble have been my guiding principles.

From your perspective, how is the AI sector in the UAE and the Arab world evolving, and what opportunities do you see for enterprises?

The UAE is moving at an incredible pace. From government-led AI strategies to industry adoption, there’s a clear intention to make the region a global hub for AI and innovation. Enterprises here have the advantage of agility; they are not burdened by decades of legacy IT, so they can leapfrog directly to AI-powered, digital-first models. I see opportunities across financial services, healthcare, government services, and education where AI can transform not just operations but also citizen and customer experiences.

Can you share how Solvagence AI’s services are addressing enterprise challenges?

At Solvagence, we designed our offerings with one purpose: to make AI practical, scalable, and human-centric. We provide AI strategy and readiness assessments, so organizations know where they stand. We conduct enterprise modernization and observability design, ensuring systems are transparent and resilient. We build tooling frameworks in DevOps, CloudOps, and AIOps to accelerate IT operations. And, importantly, we offer executive training and leadership branding programs, because no transformation is sustainable without people who are ready to lead in the AI era.

How would you describe your leadership style, and how has it enabled you to lead Solvagence across UAE, India, and the USA?

My leadership style is rooted in collaboration, curiosity, and clarity. I believe in empowering people to take ownership while also giving them the tools and vision to succeed. Leading across geographies requires cultural awareness, empathy, and trust. At Solvagence, I encourage a “learn by doing” mindset, where experimentation is celebrated, and lessons are shared openly. This has allowed us to stay agile and innovative across very different markets.

How is Solvagence leveraging Generative AI, automation, and advanced models to help organizations achieve operational excellence?

We’re not just talking about AI, we are building with it. Solvagence leverages Generative AI, predictive analytics, and foundation models to create executive dashboards, automate IT operations, and redesign workflows. For example, we’ve prototyped solutions where a CEO can ask natural language questions and receive real-time enterprise insights across finance, HR, and operations. Beyond technology, we also embed automation and governance frameworks, ensuring that organizations can scale AI responsibly and securely.

What role does your Executive AI & Leadership Training play in equipping regional CXOs and enterprise leaders for AI adoption?

CXOs often ask us: “Where do we even start with AI?” That’s why our Executive AI & Leadership Training exists. We go beyond technical skills — we help leaders understand how to align AI with strategy, risk, regulation, and people transformation. We also support leadership branding, ensuring they position themselves as AI-ready leaders in their industry. This isn’t just training; it’s about equipping leaders with the mindset and tools to lead confidently in an AI-powered world.

What are your long-term goals for Solvagence AI Consulting Limited, and how do you plan to expand impact across UAE and global markets?

Our long-term vision is to make Solvagence the go-to partner for enterprise AI transformation globally. In the next five years, we aim to scale our presence across the Middle East, Europe, and North America while deepening our partnerships in the UAE. We will expand our AI education and product prototyping capabilities, build enterprise-ready SaaS as well as AI-native solutions, and continue to shape the narrative of responsible AI adoption. Ultimately, we want Solvagence to be synonymous with trust, innovation, and impact in AI consulting.

What drives you personally as a leader each day in building an AI consulting company?

What drives me is the opportunity to turn vision into real impact. I see AI as more than technology; it’s a catalyst to help enterprises work smarter, innovate faster, and empower people to thrive in the digital economy. Each day, I’m motivated by the chance to bridge the gap between potential and reality, whether that’s guiding a CXO through AI strategy, coaching teams in future-ready skills, or developing prototypes that shape tomorrow’s business models. Knowing that every step we take at Solvagence helps organizations unlock new possibilities keeps me energized and committed to the journey.

As the UAE cements its position as a global hub for AI innovation, Solvagence AI Consulting Limited stands out as a trusted partner enabling organizations to embrace the future with confidence. Under the leadership of Mohammad Anwer, the company is redefining how enterprises approach AI adoption — with a balance of vision, practicality, and human-centric innovation. At UAE Times, we look forward to following Solvagence’s journey as it continues to expand its global impact while shaping the future of enterprise transformation.
