Riyadh Air Mumbai Flights Launch Today With Daily Dreamliner Service
Saudi Arabia’s newest airline is expanding into one of the world’s fastest-growing travel markets. Riyadh Air Mumbai flights officially begin service today, marking the carrier’s first-ever route to India.
The daily nonstop service connects King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai, operated using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft featuring Business Elite, Business, Premium Economy and Economy cabins. It is Riyadh Air’s tenth international destination since launching operations.
The outbound flight departs Riyadh at 2:05pm and lands in Mumbai at 8:35pm, while the return service leaves Mumbai at 10:05pm and arrives back in Riyadh just before midnight. Economy fares start from around $156 one-way, with Business Class fares beginning at roughly $676.
Riyadh Air CEO Tony Douglas said the route reflects India’s position as one of the fastest-growing aviation markets globally, offering travellers a new premium option between the two cities.
The launch fits into Saudi Arabia’s wider Vision 2030 push to turn Riyadh into a major global aviation hub, with the airline aiming to eventually connect the kingdom to more than 250 destinations. For Gulf travellers, the new route adds another convenient link to South Asia alongside existing UAE and Qatari carrier options.
