Eid al-Adha: Announcement of a grant of 2 million dirhams to fishermen in Ajman-News

The directive aims to encourage citizens to engage in the industry and help them overcome the obstacles they face, especially under current circumstances.

On the occasion of the Eid al-Adha, the Crown Prince of Ajman has instructed to pay 2 million dirhams to the fishermen of the Ajman Fishermen’s Association.

The instructions of His Royal Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Committee, are designed to encourage citizens to pursue this profession, help them overcome obstacles (especially in the current situation) and ensure that they and their families live Decent life.

Ahmed Ibrahim Rashid Al-Ghamlasi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ajman Fishermen’s Association, confirmed that the grant includes Ajman fishermen, who are citizens with permits for fishing activities and are members of the Emirates Fishermen’s Association.

He added that the association has recently taken the initiative, especially under the current circumstances, taking some measures to support fishermen.

This move is in line with the vision of the crown prince, who emphasized the need to review the problems that hinder the work of fishermen and study how to solve these problems in order to preserve this inherited occupation for future generations.
