Dubai Anaesthesia Conference 2026 Opens With Global Medical Experts
Dubai has brought together hundreds of healthcare professionals as the first Dubai Anaesthesia Conference and Exhibition (DACE 2026) opened on Saturday, September 5.
The two-day medical event is taking place at Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre and will continue until September 6.
More than 350 healthcare professionals and participants from 14 countries are attending the conference, alongside more than 35 international and regional speakers and over 20 participating companies.
The Dubai anaesthesia conference focuses on developments in anaesthesia, pain management, critical care and perioperative care. It also gives specialists an opportunity to discuss new clinical approaches and technologies aimed at improving patient safety and treatment outcomes.
Key Topics at DACE 2026
The conference features 10 scientific sessions, two workshops and 16 poster presentations. Topics include:
- Precision anaesthesia and patient monitoring
- Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocols
- Pain assessment and pain management
- Regional anaesthesia
- Chronic and neuropathic pain
- Critical care and perioperative care
- Maternal emergencies
- Patient blood management
- Evidence-based medical practice
The first day also featured a Difficult Airway Management Workshop, where participants received practical training focused on airway assessment, oxygenation and intubation techniques for adults and children.
What Happens on September 6?
The second day will focus on additional issues affecting anaesthesia and surgical care. Sessions will cover cardiac risk during non-cardiac surgery, paediatric and regional anaesthesia, neuropathic pain and haemodynamic monitoring.
A hands-on workshop will also explore ultrasound-guided regional anaesthesia, including nerve blocks, catheter techniques and neuraxial ultrasound.
DACE 2026 is accredited by the Dubai Health Authority for up to 27.5 CME credit hours across the conference and workshops.
The event is organised by INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions Org., with support from the Pan Arab Federation of Societies of Anaesthesia, Intensive Care and Pain Management.
