More than just a cultural hot spot…
Alserkal Avenue is an art and cultural venue in Dubai. However, there are many more popular cultural attractions hidden in Al Quoz, including many cafes serving meals that gourmets like.
So, if you plan to go to The Junction to watch the next show, watch a movie at Cinema Akil, or watch the latest art exhibition, make sure you spend an extra hour or two enjoying the delicious food during your visit.
Below are three new dining locations on Alserkal Avenue.
recidivism Pop-up truck
For chicken lovers, there is a Jailbird pop-up truck on a boulevard and a road with all the chicken on the menu. The hot chicken activity of the food truck pays tribute to the largest chicken in history. Examples include the playful (though a bit annoying) rubber chicken aka Screaming Chicken, YouTube’s sensational Techno Chicken, and so on.
The current menu is Ernie Burger, and this character appears from time to time in “Spoof House” to fight Peter Griffin. Homemade buns are stuffed with huge tender meat, Nashville chili crisps, plenty of kimchi, bell pepper cheese, and fried onions. It is huge, impactful and has an excellent kicking effect, and will only be available until October 18th. You can buy it for only AED 43.
The food truck will stay on Alserkal Avenue until March before driving away, so be sure to visit.
