The leading cultural, shopping and entertainment multicultural family destination in the UAE and the wider region is working around the clock to complete major attractions and infrastructure improvements before the official reopening this month.
From October 26, 2021, guests of Global Village will once again be able to discover unforgettable experiences, explore their favorite attractions, enjoy unparalleled shopping, enjoy amazing entertainment, and taste exquisite cuisine from all over the world. On busy days, the flow of passengers between popular stores and exhibition halls is smooth. In addition, more seating areas have been introduced in key areas to improve guest comfort.

In the global village, with the key development of vast outdoor spaces, exciting experiences come alive in new ways. The seating area around the main stage has been expanded to accommodate more guests, and improvements are being made to improve audiovisual quality. TheKids’ Theatre Stage has also added a new screen with the most advanced audio/video settings, and is developing a new children’s seating area near the carnival for young guests and their families.
In addition to Arab Square, a new iconic Instagram structure will be unveiled at the beginning of season 26. This structure will be placed at a pedestrian roundabout, which will help traffic flow and provide more seats. A new corridor now connects Xingfu Street and the newly named Fireworks Avenue. The avenue leading to Carnaval will also be the location of a new fountain facility, adding seating capacity for guests who want to enjoy new street food in the area.
The bridge connecting India and Africa pavilions will be inspired by Budapest’s famous “Margaret Bridge” this season, with a unique cafe overlooking the lake, giving guests the opportunity to rest while enjoying the beautiful views of the park and lake.
Celebration Walk is the venue for the entire season and is also being upgraded with new lighting and flooring. The popular Carnival Street will launch more street food stalls this season, making more and more “foodies” who frequent the global village happy.
Street entertainment is also returning this season, as is the “Dotto train” that carries passengers to and from the parking lot.
