Covid-19: Movement restrictions, new entry rules will be implemented in Abu Dhabi tomorrow-News

A complete list of Covid safety rules that took effect from the first day of the Eid al-Adha holiday.

The Covid-19 safety measures in Abu Dhabi will take effect tomorrow, the first day of the Eid al-Adha holiday, on July 19.

New measures include movement restrictions; testing and entry rules; and reducing the capacity of shopping malls, movie theaters and other public places.

The Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Committee also issued safety guidelines for residents to follow during the Eid al-Adha.

Sterilization

-Movement restrictions apply from midnight to 5 am.

-No transportation service will be provided.

-Residents must stay at home; they must go out only when absolutely necessary, or to obtain necessities such as food and medicine.

-Residents can apply for a mobile permit through www.adpolice.gov.ae.

Capacity reduction

-In restaurants, cafes, beaches and parks, Reduced capacity From 60% to 50%.

-Public transport buses will run at half capacity-down from 75% before.

-Shopping malls will be operated at 40% capacity and movie theaters will be operated at 30% capacity.

-A five-person taxi can accommodate up to three passengers, and a seven-person taxi can accommodate up to four passengers.

New admission rules

Both vaccinated and unvaccinated residents must comply New regulations for entry into the UAE capital.

-Allow entry into the UAE within 48 hours after receiving a negative PCR test result and within 24 hours after receiving a negative DPI result.

-Those who enter the country with a negative PCR result must be accepted again on the 4th and 8th day after entry.

-Those who get the DPI test result must perform the PCR test on the 3rd and 7th day. The DPI test cannot be used to continuously enter Abu Dhabi.

Eid al-Fitr rules

-Sacrificial donations, distributions and payments will be arranged with charitable organizations in the UAE.

-The three apps approved for this purpose are Zabehaty, Zabayeh Al Jazeera and Dhabayeh Al Emarat.

-Sacrifices can only be carried out in approved slaughterhouses that provide customers with drive-through services.

-Procurement of butcher services that provide on-site service is prohibited.

Who can not participate in Eid al-Fitr prayer

-Individuals under 12 years old and over 60 years old.

-People with chronic diseases or respiratory symptoms.

-Covid patients and people living with them.
