[ad_1]

Several schools offer a series of extracurricular activities for the holiday that begins on Sunday.

Many schools have already sent us notices about midterm camps that offer a range of extracurricular activities.

The authorities in Dubai allow schools to have five days off during the school year, and some of them take a break in the middle of the first semester in October.

This year the school will be closed from Sunday, October 17 to Thursday, October 21. The time of the mid-term break may vary from school to school in the UAE.

Taaleem Group School cooperates with Dubai Academy of Performing Arts to provide students with various activities, some of which are very esoteric in nature.

In addition to the usual academic and sports activities, students can also explore horror scenes in music and horror songs before Halloween. Some organizers have designed seminars-physical and sound warm-ups for dramas and games.

At the same time, in addition to wearing masks around buildings and in studios, they also comply with social distancing guidelines. Even brothers and sisters are not allowed to share food.

Similarly, Gems Cyber School cooperates with ESM Holiday Camps to hold multi-activity half-semester camps in different locations in Dubai.

When talking with parents and children, they claimed that they had set an agenda for the upcoming vacation.

Chloé Monet, a Frenchman in Dubai, said: “I like to spend Halloween in my garage every year. Children nearby will come here to see how we decorate this place. Therefore, as a family, we attach great importance to this. So, my daughter is preparing a truly creepy Halloween theme entertainment for everyone this year. So the preparation takes up a lot of her time. In addition, she also likes to play the piano and swim. So, in addition to make-up lessons , She will continue to practice.”

Amatullah Arsiwala, an 8th grade student at Al Diyafah High School, said: “The mid-term holiday is a great way to get rid of the routine and do new things. I will participate in some art seminars and participate in the OliOli Grand Prix-a maker racing event. In addition to interesting activities, They also provided some school worksheets to complete, and I still need to prepare for the upcoming exams.”

On the eve of the school holiday, Emirates Airline also issued travel peak reminders for passengers, requiring them to check in in advance and ensure that they carry all relevant documents with them.

Arijit Nandi, an Indian expatriate, has not seen his parents for a while, and he now says: “Due to the earlier Covid-19 case surge and subsequent restrictions, I cannot travel to India, so I want to take my son to India. Therefore, My family and I are going to Kolkata to visit my parents. We think it’s best to use this time because my son will be away from school for five days. If we count the weekend, that’s exactly nine days.”

He added: “Work wisely, and we will also have a long weekend. So, we all wonder why we don’t use the rest of the holiday and make the most of it, because it is also a holiday.”

However, the school continues to remind everyone that they must declare their recent travel history by filling out the Dubai Department of Health (DHA) form online before returning to school.
