The UAE ambassador to Israel handed in an invitation letter to Bennett.
A senior envoy said that His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has invited Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett to visit the UAE.
On behalf of Sheikh Mohamed, the UAE’s ambassador to Israel, Mohamed Haja, delivered an invitation letter to Bennett.
“For the sake of our people and future generations, the steps to achieve peace are still going on and the relationship is becoming stronger,” Al Khaja tweeted after the meeting.
In June of this year, Bennett was sworn in as Israel’s new prime minister. After the visit is completed, this will be his first official state visit to the UAE.
The signing of the Abraham Agreement promoted the relationship between the two countries.
