The chat history recovered from Aryan Khan’s mobile phone shows that Ananya helped him take drugs three times.
Bollywood actor Ananya Panday was summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Thursday and Friday after investigating a drug case on a Mumbai cruise ship, and allegedly assisted Aryan Khan in obtaining drugs three times.
According to NCB’s sources, chat records recovered from the phone of the defendant Aryan Khan in this case show that Ananya Panday has provided Aryan with a large number of drug dealers three times.
“The name of Ananya Panday was mentioned in the chat, which showed that she had provided marijuana to Aryan three times, one of which was at a popular party. We confiscated two of Ananya Panday’s mobile phones, including an old mobile phone and the one she purchased A few months ago, the mobile phone has been seized to check for evidence of tampering,” an NCB source told ANI.
Ananya Panday was summoned by NCB today because of the Mumbai cruise ship raid and suspected drug use. The subpoena was issued based on the chat history recovered from Aryan Khan’s mobile phone.
An official NCB source said: “According to chat records, in 2018-19, Pandy assisted in the supply of marijuana by providing the drug dealer’s phone number, Aryan Khan.”
Earlier on Thursday, an NCB team was seen at the actor Ananya Panday’s residence in Mumbai. She was subsequently summoned to the office by the investigating agency. Later, Ananya arrived at the NCB office with her father Fatty Pandey.
On October 2, an NCB team destroyed a party suspected of drug trafficking on the Cordelia cruise ship, which was heading to Goa in China Sea.
So far, a total of 20 people have been arrested in this case, including Aryan Khan, the son of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan. The Mumbai High Court will hear Aryan Khan’s bail application on October 26.
