For three consecutive days, the UAE counts Covid cases every day No more than 100.
Thanks to the recovery vision set by the country’s leaders, a strong vaccination campaign, and the public’s commitment to safety rules, the Covid-19 situation has been brought under control.
UAE Report 94 cases on Sunday, 84 times on Saturday and 88 times on Friday.
Except for international travel, the lives of most residents have basically returned to the “old normal”.
“We are very happy to return to the old normal now. Just a few days ago, my friend and I were discussing the possibility that after a month or two, it is time for us to completely take off the masks. Arijit Nandi, an Indian expat who has been in the UAE since 2007, said: “As the number continues to drop below 100, the situation must look very optimistic. I thank the UAE government for all its efforts and the outstanding handling of the crisis.”
Seeing the sharp decline in cases in the past few months, Egyptian expatriate Mina Kiwan is now more comfortable going out.
“As a UAE resident, I have full confidence in following the instructions of the national leader… Taking off the mask is something we all look forward to. However, we should keep it in crowded places because of the safety of the community, especially the elderly. Safety should remain the top priority,” Kiwan said.
Adilatul, a Malaysian expatriate, said: “I’m glad that things are better now. Although masks are still mandatory, people are more comfortable and happier when going out. We will live in an environment without Covid, which looks promising.”
