Since Thursday and the following weekend public holidays, the number of tourists has increased dramatically
An Expo official said on Sunday that the number of visitors to Expo 2020 Dubai is expected to exceed the 1 million mark within a few days.
In total 771,477 visits recorded In a large event held from October 1st to 17th. However, after the long weekend, an Expo official stated at a morning briefing that ticket visits are expected to reach 1 million.
Since Thursday and the following weekend public holidays, the number of tourists has increased dramatically.
“Looking at these numbers, I hope we can reach this number soon. We are very satisfied with the participation of different pavilions and events and the level of visitors,” the official said.
The number of participants in the large-scale event will be announced every Monday.

On Thursday and Friday, there were long lines outside the various pavilions. Huge crowds used long weekends to view the activities in the Saudi Arabia, the United States, India, Italy and Switzerland.
Last week, Expo officials stated that the number of visitors had increased by 12%. Figures include all physical ticket holders, but do not include representatives, delegations, guests of international participants, and Expo staff.
