Comment: Walk into the Spanish style of Hola Rooftop

[ad_1]

Balearic style restaurant, up to the standard…

Hola Rooftop captures the essence of the three most popular islands in Spain, fusing elements of Ibiza, Mallorca and Formentera in a seamless manner. The rooftop restaurant on the eighth floor overlooks the Maidan Racecourse, but the floral decoration is more attractive than the scenery.

Hola was deliberately built with imperfect white bricks, aiming to transport guests to the Spanish archipelago through environmental soundtracks, Mediterranean cuisine and relaxed hospitality. It was quiet when we arrived, but the crowd soon began to flock to fill up the tables in the entire large dining area.

Blue and white armchairs surround a large white table, which is the ultimate group dining opportunity under the stars. The wicker lampshade is suspended from the fabric sunshade, while the angle of the fan covers all areas, ensuring that guests stay cool throughout the night.

The Mediterranean-based menu has something for everyone, which is also influenced by Japan and Latin America. Shared plates include ceviche, snacks, sushi, and salads, while main dishes and large plates focus on larger meat, seafood, and chicken options.

We started with burrata (Dhs85), which uses zataar and confit date palms for an Arabic flavor modulation-this is not a combination we have tried before, but the balance of sweetness and saltiness works well. The flavour experiment of Wagyu beef carpaccio (Dhs95) continued, featuring capers sauce, parmesan cheese and green onion pancakes. The plates are beautifully presented, the meat forms a ring for fried onions, and the moat of Parmesan adds a welcome crunch to the dish.

The presentation is obviously an important factor for Hola, because tiradito ceviche (Dhs85) may be considered a work of art. The delicate fresh raw hamachi is topped with beautiful petals, chopped onions and peppers to create a powerful but richer appetizer.

Eager to see the price of the steak, we ordered the beef file (220 dirhams) and were pleasantly surprised. This is a medium-sized aged Australian tenderloin, with a separate tenderloin broccoli, a creamy mashed potato, and fresh chili sauce on top. The outside is nicely scorched, and the pink meat is soft and tender inside. Suggest that we try camarones al ajillo (Dhs185) and accept it happily. Three giant tiger prawns arrived, gleaming under the garlic butter strapping, and garnished with parsley and thyme. Delicious and juicy, every bite is delightful.

The venue received the highest score for Instagram ability, and its laid-back style definitely exudes European style. Hola Rooftop offers a rich food menu and attention to detail, and is likely to become the first choice for outdoor dining this winter.
