As part of the plan, these entities will commission six artists from the Dubai Cultural Talent Pool to form a lineup during the large event to explore their creativity and add their unique artistic style to the rider helmets of talabats. The project will begin on Friday, October 29, with Evgenia Silvina, a Russian artist of UAE origin, painting the first helmet. More of Evgenia’s artwork can be seen on the second floor of the “talabat kitchen”, where she had previously painted murals of the Dubai skyline and designed talabat riders’ motorcycles.
As part of this collaboration, talabat will host one artist every month at Expo 2020 Dubai. Visitors who wish to watch an artist’s performance can follow Dubai Culture’s Instagram page @DubaiCulture to learn more about participating artists and activation dates. During the Expo 2020, painted helmets will be displayed in the “Tarabat Kitchen”.
In addition to art, visitors can also see the talabat autonomous robots and electric scooters throughout the venue, as well as the fully automated robotic candy maker and barista in the “talabat kitchen” near Jubilee Park in the sustainable development zone.
