#BuildToGiveinitiative, a campaign initiated by the LEGO Group calling on families to build stars and make a difference, debuts in the Middle East – Dubai Blog

[ad_1]

For many people around the world, the holiday is a time for reunion and laughter, but for many families, it can be a challenging time. In order to make the holiday of children who need to play even better, when the LEGO Group first launched in the Middle East, everyone was encouraged to pick up their own building blocks and build a small star, a big star or a very strange star to help pass on Happiness is part of its rebuilding the world #BuildToGiveinitiative.

#BuildToGive will invite fans and family members together in the region for the first time to be creative and make a difference. According to LEGO Play Well research, 96% of parents believe that games help strengthen family bonds. #BuildToGive provides an excellent opportunity to play and have fun together, while helping another child to have a happy gaming experience.

For every star created and shared on social media using the #BuildToGive tag before the end of December, the Lego Group will donate a set of Lego toys to children in need, so that children in hospitals, children’s homes and disadvantaged communities have a chance to play this holiday.

Last year, the company donated more than 1 million sets, and hopes to go further this year, with the goal of bringing Lego games to 1.5 million children around the world. These packages are distributed through the LEGO Group’s local charity partner network in 29 countries/regions around the world, including the UAE.

“Generations and different cultures, people who are far apart feel connected when looking up at the same starry sky. That’s why we put them at the core of this year’s #BuildToGive project-at this time of reunion and celebration, through the game Connect families all over the world,” Said Kathrine Kirk Muff, Vice President of Social Responsibility of the LEGO Group. “In the past four years, thanks to fans and families all over the world, we have donated millions of Lego sets to children who need to play through #.Construction give. This year will be our biggest year so far, because our goal is to share the gifts of Lego games with 1.5 million children, and hope that everyone from small to large builders will have some festive fun while helping to make stars for them And being proud makes a difference. “

The #BuildToGive event is just one example of how the LEGO Group has worked with a series of charity partners and the LEGO Foundation to bring games to children in need in communities around the world. These programs provide children with opportunities to develop life-long skills, such as problem solving, collaboration, and communication, to help them succeed in the future. By 2022, the LEGO Group’s goal is to enable 8 million children around the world to learn through play.

The LEGO Group is launching #BuildToGive, which contains a global event video that shows families gathering together to build their stars. The #BuildToGive page on LEGO.com will be full of building inspiration and celebrity building skills to help families get creative.
