Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the representative of the ruler of the Al Dhafra region, visited the pavilions of Oman, South Korea, Israel and China at the 2020 Dubai Expo today.
Reflecting frankincense, Sheikh Hamdan was displayed around the Oman Pavilion, aiming to highlight the different achievements of the Sultanate in different fields of civil development and show Oman’s potential as a tourist and commercial destination.
At the Korea Pavilion, Sheikh Hamdan heard how the building integrates personal images harmoniously, regardless of nationality, gender or age, based on the premise of showing the vitality of Korea.
Sheikh Hamdan also showed the state-of-the-art technology to the Israel Pavilion, where innovation for a better future is the hallmark of this building.
Sheikh Hamdan visited the China Pavilion named “Light of China”, which is shaped like a traditional Chinese lantern. With an area of 4636 square meters, the exhibition hall is the largest exhibition hall in this World Expo.
Sheikh Hamdan was accompanied by Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemy, Minister of State for International Cooperation and Managing Director of Expo 2020 Dubai during his visit to the Oman Pavilion.
During the visit of Sheikh Hamdan, Ahmed Matar Al Dhaheri, Director of the Office of Representatives of the Rulers of Al Dhafra, His Highness Advisor Issa Hamad Boushehab, Chairman of the UAE Red Crescent Society, Khadim Abdulla Aldarei, co-founder and management of Al Dahra Holding Directors and some senior officials.
