Looking forward to a modern Latin flavor…
DIFC is often considered a hot food spot in Dubai, and when concepts such as Gaia, LPM and Zuma are all found there, it is hard to argue. Joining the growing list of destinations is Sucre, a top Latin American restaurant from Buenos Aires.
Sucre Dubai will open in December, hoping to bring a little Latin flavor to the bustling restaurants. The original outpost was rated as one of the 50 best restaurants in Latin America, so you know you will be well served when it opens next month.
Executive chef Fernando Trocca has meticulously planned a menu that combines traditional open flame cooking with the global impact of his culinary travels. Chef Fernando will use carefully sourced fresh and high-quality ingredients to combine Italian, Spanish and Latin American cuisine at Sucre Dubai.
Menu highlights will include king crab tostadas, Argentine ribeye and squid paella. Sucre Dubai’s kitchen will be open, equipped with a wooden oven and a huge “parilla” (grill) cooked on charcoal in the Argentine way, adding extra flavor to its dishes.
The restaurant itself also has an Argentine style, with warm colors and traditional patterns on the fabrics. The rendering of the upcoming scene shows an interesting ceiling structure made of wood and brick walls facing the dining area.
Ambient lighting is hung above the round table, indicating a social environment where groups can enjoy dishes and discuss. The venue will feature bars, lounges, terraces and restaurants, as well as a series of live entertainment, designed to bring the Latin beat to Dubai.
