The UAE has officially become the safest place to travel alone at night

According to a study by Gallup Global Law and Order Report 2021, the UAE has been officially named the safest country in the world to walk alone at night.

Gallup conducted a survey on a global scale, and out of the possible 100 points, the UAE has reached 95% of the sense of safety of walking alone at night. The country defeated the second-ranked Norway with a score of 93%.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, shared the result on his Twitter account, saying: “Security is a blessing… .. And safety is tranquility, tranquility and life… If a woman wanders day or night without fear at any time, know that she is in the UAE.”

According to the Gallup Report on Safety and Order 2021, the UAE is the first in the world to roam alone at night by the number of residents. The study also reported the countries with the highest law and order, with Norway topping the list with 94 points. The UAE ranks second with 93 points. All survey responses were collected in the past 18 months during the global pandemic.

The top five countries that feel safe when walking alone at night include the UAE (94%), Norway (93%), China (91%), Slovenia (91%) and Taiwan (90%).

The top five countries with the highest public security scores are: Norway (94 points), UAE (93 points), China (93 points), Switzerland (93 points) and Finland (92 points).
