The National Pavilion of the Republic of Uzbekistan announced the country’s recent scientific and economic achievements at the 2020 Dubai World Expo.
The pavilion also displays Uzbekistan’s cultural heritage, tourist attractions and investment opportunities, as well as a national development roadmap.
During Expo 2020 Dubai, the Uzbekistan Foundation for Art and Culture Development, the official partner of the Uzbekistan Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, will host a number of events to promote the country and its potential.
Expo 2020 Dubai will receive 25 million visitors from all over the world during the six-month period that ends on March 31, 2022.
Saida Mirziyoyeva, Vice Chairman of the Council of the Art and Cultural Development Foundation, said: “Today, when Uzbekistan is open to the world and ready to absorb positive experience and is willing to share our own experience, we are working to effectively promote cultural development. The Uzbekistan cultural program of Expo 2020 Dubai will include the international premiere of the ballet “Lazgi-Dance of Soul and Love” at the Dubai Opera on November 27, 2021. It took Uzbekistan’s ballet to a new level and began its first tour around the world.
On November 29, 2021, the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a conference on “Women’s Role in the Modernization of Social Life” in the Women’s Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai.
On November 30, 2021, pianist Bekhzod Abduraimov will perform at a concert in Jubilee Park at Expo 2020 Dubai. The pianist will perform popular classical works by Liszt, Beethoven, Chopin, Mussorgsky, Prokofiev and Tchaikovsky.
From December 19 to 21, 2021, the Art and Cultural Development Foundation will participate in the “Al Burda” festival within the framework of the 2020 Dubai World Expo.
