The bad news for rock fans…
The 2021 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and 12-time Grammy Award winner Foo Fighters had to cancel their appointment with the UAE capital, which happened to be the day before their scheduled performance on Sunday, December 12.
This legendary band is about to end the Yasalam post-match concert, which will become an iconic way to end the 2021 Etihad Airways Formula One Grand Prix Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Instagram and tweets posted on Yasalam’s official social media channel stated: “Due to unforeseen medical conditions, Foo Fighters will not perform at the AbuDhabiGP Yasalam post-match concert on Sunday, December 12.
“The band apologizes for any inconvenience or disappointment caused by this accident.
But the historic #F1F1Finale weekend is still going on with its #NewMoves, energetic atmosphere and racing action, because we look forward to solving the most fierce championship battle and crowning the champion here tomorrow #InAbuDhabi. “
Since December 9th, the post-match concert at the newly renamed Etihad Park on Yas Island has been a huge success so far. Popular songs in the series, including 8teen with twenty oneAt the same time, on the second day, the British Grime music superstar Stormzy will be on the same stage on Friday, December 10th, and Lewis Capaldi will be on the stage tonight (December 11).
