Sheikh Zayed Festival set three Guinness World Records with the largest 40-minute fireworks display

The Sheikh Zayed Festival has set three Guinness World Records in terms of number, duration and form, providing visitors with an extraordinary experience in the first minute of the new year.

The organizing committee of the Sheikh Zayed Festival in Al Wathba, Abu Dhabi has arranged a series of world-class folklore and entertainment activities and performances as part of the New Year celebrations.

The festival hosted a series of exciting activities and performances to welcome 2022, the most important of which is the largest 40-minute firework display.

The festival also organized a large-scale drone show with the theme of “Welcome 2022” and using 2022 drones, which will hover over the sky of Al Wathba. This is the first performance of its kind and scale in the world.

The celebrations included a concert for the “Voice of the United Arab Emirates” Aida Al Menhali, who sang some of his most popular songs.

The celebration also includes many special events and performances for children, including theater performances and circus performances, fun games at Funfair City and entertainment at Al Forsan International Sports Resort, as well as more activities starting from 16:00 to 1:00.

Participating national pavilions roam the festival area through colorful carnival entertainment performances and international art and cultural performances, providing visitors with a joyful and exciting experience, turning the festival into an international art carnival celebrating the New Year.

Visitors can shuttle between the various exhibition halls and appreciate the colorful folk arts and crafts performed by professional artists and performers in traditional costumes, and the traditional songs and dances of participating countries on the international stages of the exhibition halls.

This year, the festival has a series of exciting major entertainment activities and performances, including heritage performances, education and entertainment activities, including the celebration of the International Civilization Parade, New Year celebrations and other activities suitable for the whole family.
