After months of rumors and speculation about the relationship between Chanel Iman and Sterling Shepard, it seems that the two have decided to withdraw!
According to an exclusive report by US Weekly, Sterling formally filed for divorce from Chanel in June 2021 after living together for six years-of which he was married. A source familiar with the situation said, “They will work hard to maintain a civilized and friendly relationship with each other.”
When Chanel and Sterling only raised this question two years after their relationship, people on the Internet were screaming “husband and wife goals.” The two love each other very candidly, but Sterling is fascinated by Chanel whenever he gets the chance.
He previously recalled meeting Chanel at a party in 2016, and the rest is history.
“When I was young, I would see her in the Victoria’s Secret magazine that my sisters bought, but I didn’t really think about it,” he said. “I approached her and asked if she would like to have a drink. We just talked for the rest of the party, and then we went to a club to join the party and continue chatting.”
“I got her number, we parted ways, but we kept in touch,” he continued. “It’s kind of crazy. Now that’s my lady.”
Chanel and Shepard welcomed their daughter Carly in 2018, and welcomed their second daughter, Cassie, at the end of 2019.
