Wow! Today has been a day full of pregnancy.Rihanna and Nick Cannon Both broke the intranet as Rih is expecting her first child with A$AP Rocky and Nick is expecting his 8th child with model Bre Tiesi. As we previously reported, Nick made the announcement on his daytime talk show. However, Alyssa Scott, mother of son Zen, who died on December 5, appears to have something to say after the news.
If you remember, Zen died of a brain tumor. Following the announcement, Alyssa shared a long message on Instagram thanking everyone for their support as she grieved the loss of her son. “It is painful to have my son engage in a conversation that is at odds with his brilliance and legacy. It is not something I chose for him or myself,” she wrote.
She continued: “It’s important for me to let you all know that I’m at the center. I’m at peace. I look at everyone’s plight with love. I don’t judge. I consciously decide what I’ll be involved in. .I am surrounded by love. God, my mom, dad, sister, brother and daughter continue to carry me.”
In another post, Alyssa shared a photo of Zen being held in the hospital, while explaining that she had known since August that her baby boy’s time on earth was limited. Bri also spoke out as her name was in the headlines. She shared a message on Instagram, saying, “For various personal reasons, I’ve purposely kept my pregnancy a secret, and I’m appalled that this precious moment is being used and plastered all over TMZ.”
