IIFA 2027 Returns to Abu Dhabi With Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor
IIFA 2027 is returning to Abu Dhabi, bringing some of Bollywood’s biggest names to Yas Island for a two-day celebration of Indian cinema.
The 27th IIFA Weekend & Awards will take place on January 22 and 23, 2027, at Etihad Arena on Yas Island. The event will mark the fourth time that Abu Dhabi has hosted IIFA.
Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan are among the major Bollywood names announced for the event. Shahid Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal and filmmaker Karan Johar are also part of the announced line-up.
The organisers have not yet announced which celebrities will host the ceremony or perform on stage.

The 2027 edition is being organised in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Miral.
When Do IIFA 2027 Tickets Go on Sale?
Tickets will go on sale on September 18 at 10am UAE time through the official Etihad Arena booking platform. Fans planning to attend can check ticket availability and prices when sales open.
Abu Dhabi previously hosted IIFA in 2022, 2023 and 2024. The awards moved to Jaipur in 2025 for IIFA’s 25th-anniversary celebrations before the announcement of the 2027 return to Abu Dhabi.
With Bollywood stars, awards, live performances and red-carpet events planned across the weekend, IIFA 2027 will bring another major Indian cinema event to Abu Dhabi.
