“I just know that I have to let my children out,” he said. “This is my idea.”
Lucas said that his daughters slept in the basement and he knew they could save their lives every moment.

“You really can’t see your hand in front of you-I really only found my children because of my memory, I only know where they are and how to find them-just because of the same route.”
Thankfully, Lucas and the cute baby girl came out alive, but the baby did stay in the intensive care unit for a while.
Malaysia left the hospital with severe burns and can be with his family, while Milan inhaled some smoke and second-degree burns.
Lucas’ injuries are also serious.
“I was temporarily blind for three days and they said it was a miracle that I could see it,” he said. “I have burns on my arm, but in most cases, everyone is still here.”
Lucas can’t work now because he was injured and his home was destroyed.
In addition to losing their homes, the family also lost some property, and they expect medical expenses to continue to grow
They have a GoFundMe set up.
“It would be great if someone could support it,” he said. He said that the family had dealt with a very serious flood in Michigan the day before and thought it might be related to the fire.
