Springfield opens doors to sustainable flagship concept store

[ad_1]

UAE – Stay ahead of the fashion game this summer with Springfield! The casualwear brand has opened its new flagship concept store in Mirdif in a prime downtown location. The remodeled store has a unique design aesthetic that embraces nature and the environment, creating a tranquil atmosphere that brings the outdoors indoors. With sustainability at its core, the striking 200sqm+ retail space is themed inspired by Springfield’s iconic tree logo.

Much of the visual material for the new store comes from suppliers certified by the Forest Stewardship Council, the world’s leading body responsible for the management, protection and conservation of forests around the world, bringing hope to the brand’s environmental focus.

With the new fashion season approaching, the store also launched the latest Spring/Summer 2022 collections for men and women. The new collection features versatile pieces in different categories – denim, icon and linen, to name a few. The brand is committed to contributing to a better future by making more sustainable clothing, whether through the use of organic or recycled raw materials, or technologies that save water, energy and chemicals in the finishing process of clothing.

Springfield launched a program in 2020 to reforest and create new ecosystems in the brand’s home country, Spain, with the aim of improving air quality. To date, the initiative has planted 90,000 trees. Now, with Springfield’s deeper roots in the Middle East, it’s turning its attention to making a positive impact on the region’s environment.

Anuradha Dhawan, General Manager of Al Ghurair Retail, said of the launch: “The launch of this flagship store is an exciting time for the UAE’s fashion industry as we begin to see a clear shift in consumer trends towards sustainable options. We are proud to be at the forefront of responding to this change, offering a wider range of responsible choices to increasingly eco-conscious shoppers.

“With the launch of this concept store, we are building deeper roots in the region and are preparing many exciting environmental initiatives. We hope our customers and brand enthusiasts will be able to participate in these projects as we become a regional An advocate for sustainable development,” Dhawan added.
