Movies to cool off the heat | DayDayNews Entertainment

[ad_1]

Whether you choose to swim, travel, or watch a movie, summer vacation is a great time to unwind. With the sweltering heat seemingly never ending, you might be looking for something to do inside to beat the inevitable boredom. Here are a few of my personal favorite movies to watch that feel so much better in the summer.

“American Graffiti” (1973)

Set in 1960s California, American Graffiti tells the story of a group of teens enjoying the last days of their summer vacation after high school, including rock, cars, and late-night cruises. Director George Lucas put himself on the map with this cinematic wonder, proving he can do more than direct a Star Wars movie. Great script, authentic and personal characters, stylized directors, and music that takes you into the era; American Graffiti is one of the most influential and best perspectives on how to make an emotionally charged film Teen comedy.

“Dazed and Confused” (1993)

Claiming to be one of my favorite movies, “Dazed and Confused” is actually a ’70s kid’s version of “American Graffiti.”Featuring an absolutely loaded cast, one of the greatest soundtracks of all time, and a vivid take on high school life in the 1970s; “Dazed and Confused” is a

A hilarious, heartfelt masterpiece that everyone should watch at least once in their lives. A movie that doesn’t actually happen much on paper, and the best way I can explain it is that you’re watching real life and the relevant and interesting moments that come with it. Packed with great actors and the likes of a young Matthew McConaughey and Ben Affleck, I can’t stress enough what a great time it was to watch “Dazed and Confused.”

“Back to the Future” (1985)

A prime example of how to make a fun and creative sci-fi adventure, Back to the Future is a timeless classic about the dynamic duo of Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd in their quest for salvation Time travel prank going on now. In what may be one of the best films ever made, Back to the Future is at its core a story about making a deal with the family and all its inadequacies, while also subtly adding comedy and wonder. A perfect mix of drama, comedy, thrill and special effects, anyone who loves movies and fun will find love in watching Back to the Future.

Indiana Jones (1981)

The film is best described by Indiana Jones’ own words, “It belongs in a museum.” A truly remarkable action-adventure film, Harrison Ford propelled it into the new heights. Steven Spielberg hits the nail on the head and keeps hitting it with this thrilling, fun and emotional extravaganza. ‘Raiders

The Lost Ark is an experience that never seems to go out of style, and you can’t seem to resist the fun that comes with it.
