This naturally includes the performance boost of the turbocharged eight-cylinder engine, too. Improved engine controls and a high-performance exhaust system with metal catalysts boost output by 80 kW / 109 hp. Combined with electric drive, the system outputs 816 kW / 1,109 hp.

high performance engine
Novitec powerplant engineers have been making high-performance engines more powerful for decades. They also did a great job with the four-liter twin-turbo V8 combustion engine in the SF90 Stradale’s hybrid drive system. For this purpose, two plug-and-play Novitec N-TRONIC control modules are available for the engine electronics. They provide reprogrammed injection and ignition maps to the engine controls and increase electronic boost pressure limiting.
In order to allow the combustion engine to breathe more freely and produce a sportier exhaust note, Novitec has developed different models of high-performance exhaust systems. They come with or without electronic sound management via an actively controlled butterfly valve in the exhaust, and offer a choice of different materials.
They are all thermally insulated to reduce the temperature in the engine compartment. Variants with 999 fine gold plating are also available for maximum heat dissipation. If desired, this is also available for the two 112mm stainless steel tailpipes with carbon trim and a very special unique touch to the rear end.
To further optimize power transfer, Novitec also offers 100 Cell Movement Catalysts with thermal insulation. What’s more: they can also be ordered gold-plated.
Novitec upgrade
With all Novitec high-performance components installed, the internal combustion engine produces 80 kW / 109 hp more than the stock configuration, resulting in 654 kW / 889 hp at 7,300 rpm. Peak torque increases from 800 Nm to 918 Nm at 6,100 rpm. Paired with three unmodified electric motors, this Novitec upgrade delivers a system output of 816 kW / 1,109 hp.

However, the appeal of Novitec’s performance enhancements to the Ferrari SF90 Stradale is more than just further optimised drivability. Equally fascinating is the more immediate throttle response and stronger gear acceleration in any driving situation.
Excellent drivability
The bodywork can also be trimmed for the race car to match the excellent drivability. To that end, Novitec went into the wind tunnel to develop bare carbon components that give the two-seater a more spectacular look and, most importantly, generate more aerodynamic downforce.
For the front fascia, the designers sculpted a combination of Novitec spoilers and removable side sections, combined with a center section made of the same composite material, to give the SF90 an even more unique look. In addition, it ensures greater high-speed handling stability. Carbon fiber front flaps on the left and right precisely direct airflow through the front wheel arches. The front hood can also be upgraded with a racing look with two custom carbon trim elements for the lower air outlets and the front of the windshield.
Additionally, the front fenders can be replaced with special Novitec Race specimens. They are made entirely of carbon and also improve air emissions in the wheel wells heated by the brakes thanks to the exhaust ports above the tires.

Novitec rocker panels can be used to give two-door cars a sportier look from the side. In addition, the upper part of the side mirrors and the triangles of both windows can be upgraded with Novitec carbon elements.
Novitec’s designers created special deflectors for the quarter-panel air intakes to direct airflow more precisely into the engine bay. To generate more downforce on the rear axle, Novitec designed a large canard made of carbon. Of course, the tailor-made high-tech forged wheels also had a decisive impact on the exciting Novitec look of the Ferrari SF90 Stradale. Novitec has access to the services of the renowned American manufacturer Vossen as a development and production partner.
The vehicle pictured is equipped with Novitec NF10 forged rims with five double spokes and a stylized center lock for a full racing look. The largest possible option is a combination of wheels with dimensions of 9.5Jx21 on the front and rims with dimensions of 12Jx21 on the rear axle. Novitec chose high-performance tires in sizes 255/30 ZR 21 and 325/25 ZR 21 as the optimal solution.
The SF90 Stradale’s extensive Novitec range also includes other exclusive rims in 20 and 21 inch diameters.
Novitec sports springs can be used to lower the ride height of the powerful hybrid sports car by 30 mm at the front axle and 25 mm at the rear. They ensure a more imposing look and also help to further optimise handling thanks to the lowered centre of gravity. A front lift system controlled from the cockpit is also available as an option. It allows the front of the body to be raised by about 40mm in order to get over obstacles. When this feature is not activated, the SF90 rides below the discontinued state.
