The Fulton County District Attorney is investigating possible criminal activity by Trump and his associates as they tried to pressure Georgia officials into falsifying election results.
Murder charges in mass shooting: Robert E. Creamer III charged with seven counts of murder on July 4 Mass shooting in Highland Park, Illinois. Officials claim that Cremer had planned the attack for weeks. Police found a high-powered rifle similar to an AR-15 in the shooting. About 70 shots were fired at bystanders and marchers during the July 4 march in Highland Park.
Confidence in PM Johnson wanes: British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is struggling to keep the government united after two senior ministers and several other officials resigned. Members of his own Conservative Party have been trying to oust Johnson. Johnson nearly lost a vote of confidence about a month ago. Critics say Johnson has been distracted by the scandal and has not paid due attention to issues such as inflation.
Donetsk civilians urged to evacuate: The governor of Ukraine’s Donetsk province urged some 350,000 civilians still in the area to leave as the Russians intensified their attack. Pavlo Kirilenko said the withdrawal was necessary to save civilian lives and make Ukrainian troops better against the Russians.
Kim Singer receives death threats: Republican U.S. Rep. Adam Kinsinger of Illinois revealed that he has received numerous death threats for serving on a House committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol and Donald Trump’s attempted coup. Kinzinger released audio recordings of about a dozen calls to his office with threatening messages. His family was also threatened by the caller.
