Emirates plans to increase the frequency of its flights to Mauritius to three times a day from 1 October 2022, announced following the reintroduction of two daily flights.
The additional night service will run until 31 January 2023 to account for increased travel demand to and from Mauritius and will facilitate connectivity with the island nation.
Emirates’ third day flight to Mauritius will operate according to the following schedule (all times local): EK 709 leaves Dubai at 22:10 and arrives in Mauritius at 04:45. The EK 710 leaves Mauritius at 06:30 and arrives in Dubai at 13:05.
Flights on the third day will increase seat capacity to and from Mauritius by about 35% to meet the surge in demand and provide additional support for the tourism industry during one of the busiest tourist seasons.
The increased frequency complements the existing Airbus A380’s twice-daily service and will provide passengers travelling to Mauritius with greater flexibility when planning travel in addition to the existing EK 0701 service, in addition to the existing EK 0701 service.
