Authorities are conducting on-site cooling operations
A fire at a building in the Mussafah R6 area of Abu Dhabi was extinguished at 2:47 am on July 17.
Abu Dhabi Police said in a tweet that authorities were investigating the cause of the fire.
Abu Dhabi Police and Civil Defence are currently conducting on-site cooling operations. No casualties were reported.
Authorities also stressed that information is only obtained from verified or official sources.
Last month, Abu Dhabi Police and Abu Dhabi Civil Defence successfully dealt with a fire in a 30-storey building in the Al Zahiyah area. The incident resulted in 19 people suffering minor to moderate injuries.
Residents who were evacuated as a safety measure were also given temporary shelter.
