UAVOS Inc., a developer and manufacturer of advanced unmanned systems, announced the establishment of a subsidiary in Dubai, United Arab Emirates to support the company’s growing regional presence. The main focus will be to strengthen UAVOS’ existing partnerships in the country and work with local companies on domestic R&D projects to help it achieve its goal of self-sufficiency in the commercial and security sectors.
UAVOS designs, develops and manufactures state-of-the-art unmanned systems, including HAPS and several heavy-duty drones with an MTOW in excess of 2000 kg, fully proprietary autopilots, and unmanned aircraft equipment and components.
“We are expanding our presence in the UAE as our recent contracts and partnerships in the region require a permanent local setup to provide integration services, training and after-sales support. Our commitment to the region goes beyond that. UAVOS’s Short-term plans include the establishment of a local manufacturing facility and possibly additional R&D centres. We expect our presence in the UAE will also allow us to expand our reach to other countries in the region.
