Mashreq appoints Al Ghurair as head of group marketing

Mashreq, one of the UAE’s leading financial institutions, has appointed Muna Al Ghurair as its new Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications.

She has over 20 years of experience in communications, marketing, sales and business development and has an excellent track record with the region’s leading payments and financial institutions.

Throughout her career, Muna has taken a holistic approach to developing integrated financial product branding, public relations and marketing strategies both internationally and across the MEA region. In previous organisations, she ran marketing as a separate function, leading the establishment of dedicated PR and communications, brand and digital marketing and events teams.

Muna holds a Diploma in Marketing from Emirates University of Technology and has proven expertise in brand building and leading stakeholder communication programmes, especially during mergers and acquisitions.

Before joining Mashreq, she was Group Chief Marketing Officer at Network International, where she led the PR and communications strategy for Network’s 2019 IPO on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) – the largest UK IPO at the time of listing . – arab trade news agency
