Guide to the 50 best restaurants in the Middle East and North Africa will debut in 2022

[ad_1]

Abu Dhabi will host the first award ceremony ever…

If you are a food lover, you probably already know the excellent work done by 50 Best in celebrating the best restaurants in the world.

The annual ranking service has been expanded to the list of specific regions, with the 50 best restaurants in Asia (launched in 2013), followed by the 50 best restaurants in Latin America.

There is also a bar. In fact, Dubai’s Zuma has entered the world’s 50 best bars in 2020 (ranked 23rd, not too shabby, and the stylish DIFC haunted Galaxy bar is also ranked 67th).

Today, we learned that in recognition of the rapid expansion, innovation and diversity of cuisine in the MENA region-a new list will be launched: the 50 best restaurants in the Middle East and North Africa.

The 2022 finals will be the first competition, and a special award ceremony will be held in Abu Dhabi in February of that year. And we can’t think of a more suitable country to start all of this, with a proud local gastronomic tradition and a city that offers little to match the world’s food diversity.

From February 4 to 11, 2022, the Abu Dhabi Culinary Institute and the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT) will host a week-long celebration of the Food Festival.

The event will include a series of dining experiences that showcase world-renowned chefs and top regional talents. There will also be a series of live chef master classes and gourmet lectures by industry celebrities.Different Abu Dhabi Culinary’s ongoing event plan annual.

Want to evaluate the competition? Other countries competing for the top 50 include Algeria; Bahrain; Egypt; Israel; Iran; Iraq; Jordan; Kuwait; Lebanon; Libya; Morocco; Oman; Palestine; Qatar; Saudi Arabia; Syria; Tunisia; and Yemen.

Special Award

A special award will also be awarded that night. These traditionally include the “One To Watch Award”-an honor for a rising star in the regional catering industry; we are also likely to see MENA’s best female chef award.
