MTPA, Liverpool FC launch Mauritius Tour competition

The Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA) and Liverpool Football Club (FC) have launched a global competition to offer two people on the island a week off. The registration deadline is October 9th.

The launch of the holiday giveaway comes after a global partnership relaunched to make Mauritius the club’s official tourist destination. The draw is open to entrants aged 18 and over from around the world who simply log on to a dedicated page on the Liverpool FC website and enter their details.

The prize includes round-trip economy class airfare for two from the entrant’s home country to Mauritius, seven nights half-board hotel accommodation and travel to and from the international airport closest to the entrant’s home.

The Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority became the Official Tourism Partner of Liverpool Football Club in July 2020. The partnership allows Mauritius to benefit from the Club’s range of digital, social media and marketing assets, contributing significantly to the country’s status as a leading global tourism destination and a commercial hub in Africa.

As the most successful club in English football and one of the best teams in the world, Liverpool Football Club has a huge international following with millions of fans around the world.

Mauritius is one of the top luxury resorts and one of the destinations with the highest rate of repeat guests. It is also one of the best locations in the world for business and investment. The island has been an international banking and financial center for at least 20 years, and plans to enhance this business reputation globally.

The Mauritian government is committed to enhancing and expanding the country’s profile around the world, and the impact of Covid-19 on the international tourism and business sectors has only increased the importance of its international branding strategy, making an agreement with Liverpool FC so important and valuable One.
