Organised by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Agency (DFRE), the 25th edition of Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) featured a series of sweepstakes and other winning opportunities at shopping centres and outlets across the city.
To enter the sweepstakes and stand a chance to win prizes offered by Dubai Gold & Jewellery Group (DGJG), shoppers must spend at least AED 500 on diamond and pearl jewellery, of which 20 winners will each receive AED 5,000 in purchases Coupon to spend at participating DGJG outlets across Dubai.
This year’s raffle winners included Jahangir, who has lived in the UAE for 12 years, said: “I have never participated in a raffle before. It was my first time and I won a gift certificate worth AED 5,000. Yes With this voucher, I can finally buy some gold for my mother in Bangladesh.”
Vidhya has been in the UAE for almost two years. Commenting on her victory, she said: “This is my first chance to win the draw; it was totally unexpected. My husband and I received a Dh5000 voucher and used it to buy a gold chain .”
Rosalie Francis, who has lived in the UAE since 2019, said: “When my husband bought me a gift from Malabar Gold, we were given raffle tickets for a chance to win a voucher. I was very excited to learn that I was one of the winners of the AED 5,000 voucher.
Now is the time for me to share this blessing as a gift to my mother. We couldn’t celebrate her birthday because we were all quarantined on her special day. “
Another winner, Zahra Ahmed, said: “I have been living in Dubai for over a year. This is the first time I have entered and won the raffle. We bought some jewellery from Jawhara with the Dh5,000 voucher that I won.”
The 25th edition of Dubai Summer Surprise will run until September 4, 2022.
