PHOENIX — A free entertainment series featuring music, comedy and food trucks returns to the park in downtown Glendale in October.
live! According to the press release, @Murphy Park will be staying at the park near 58th and Glendale for 13 nights.
Entertainment from Thursday to Saturday throughout the month, starting at 7pm
The first night of the series is scheduled for October 1st with reggae band Black Bottom Lighters.
The series will end on October 29th with performances by various bands.
One of those nights – October 15th – will be a comedy night.

- October 7: Santa Pachita (Latin fusion)
- October 8: Lucky Sons (Creedence Clearwater Revival Tribute Band; Rock/Folk)
- October 13: Brea Burns & The Boleros (Country)
- October 14: Shine on Floyd (Pink Floyd tribute band; rock)
- October 15: comedy night
- October 20: Group El Regreso (Latin/Cumbia)
- October 21: Senator (Independent Ballad)
- October 22: Surfin’ (Beach Boys Tribute; Rock/Pop)
- October 27: Offline (Motown Soul)
- October 28: Phoenix Afrobeat Orchestra (Afrobeat)
- October 29: STUDIO 54 – Disco Blast (70s)
Food trucks sell beer and hard seltzer onsite every night.
This is Glendale’s fourth entertainment series at Murphy Park in the past two years.
The city hosted events in May 2021, October 2021 and February 2022.
