Wednesday is the annual Dapper Dad fashion show in downtown Lansing. The event begins at 6:30 pm outside Kositchek’s in North Washington Square.
You can cheer on local leaders as they battle for the Dapper Dad 2022 title.
now in its 12thth The annual Dapper Dad Competition is a fundraiser for the miracles of women at Sparrow Hospital. It’s also fun!
Greater Lansing Home Builders Association’s Home Parade

The annual Greater Lansing Home Builders Association’s home parade also begins Wednesday.
This is your chance to learn about the latest new home and renovation projects from local builders.
There are homes throughout Central Michigan as part of this tour.

Composer, artist and professor Stephen Rush performs at MSU Cook Recital Hall this Friday at 8 p.m.
Rush is showing off his performance skills with a contemporary piano music program. It’s definitely a concert.
Rush is a composer who has premiered on five continents and composed six operas and more than 50 other works.
Historian Valerie Gugala is showing “Visit Mrs. Lincoln.”
Valerie has spent over 40 years researching the Lincoln family and has performed and talked about Mrs. Lincoln as Mrs. Lincoln for over 25 years.
Zoobie’s Oktoberfest Terrace Party

If you’re in Old Town Lansing this Saturday, you might want to attend Zoobies’ annual Oktoberfest patio party.
The event includes Oktoberfest beers from Michigan Breweries and special Oktoberfest treats such as Beer Kid, Bavarian Pretzels with Beer Cheese and themed pizza from The Cosmos.
The Black Barn Band also has live music.
The festivities start at 5pm and continue until midnight.
Kinky boots

If you’re in Owosso this weekend, you might want to catch the Broadway show Kinky Boots at the Lebowsky Center for the Performing Arts.
Kinky Boots is a passionate high-heeled song written by Grammy and Tony Award-winning pop icon Cyndi Lauper.

Lansing Bridal Show

This Sunday is the Lansing Center’s annual bridal show. The event is the largest bridal show in Michigan.
Brides-to-be can book ballrooms, line up a DJ and even hire a photographer.
Lansing Bridal Show will also showcase the latest bridal trends for brides, bridesmaids and mothers of the bride. You’ll also see the groom’s tuxedo, with accents in every color.
The bridal show starts at 11am and runs until 4pm
