Games for Change (G4C) and AD Gaming have announced that the inaugural Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Games for Change Summit will be held in Abu Dhabi from 11-12 October 2022. The event will bring together global gaming experts to explore best practices and build business relationships with gaming companies in the UAE. The G4C Summit will be held in partnership with the US delegation to the UAE and twofour54.
The two-day summit will connect 300 leaders of Abu Dhabi’s gaming industry with international expertise. Keynote speakers included Tilting Point Chief Commercial Officer Asi Burak, Google Play Managing Director Leo Olebe and Iron Galaxy Co-CEO Chelsea Blasko.

Through lectures, panel discussions, seminars, and networking events, attendees will explore the economic and business trends driving the gaming industry, hear first-hand experiences from independent game developers and entrepreneurs from around the world, and learn from insights on the social impact of using games Issues such as education, healthcare and climate change are studied in impact case studies.

Meanwhile, UAE gaming industry revenue is expected to reach $288 million in 2022. This number will continue to grow thanks to the growth of the youth sector, which currently accounts for 34% of the UAE population.
The Games for Change Summit is the latest development in the ongoing collaboration between Games for Change, the US and the UAE. Last year, G4C partnered with Aldar Education and AD Gaming to launch Game Exchange, a virtual exchange program connecting youth in the US, the Middle East and North Africa.
